This historical data can be found from the founding Chairman message. You can find a list of over 100 very old members! Technical lecture and visit were organised in 1967. Thank to Mr. PUN Kwok Wa for keeping these pecious documents, including the constitution of the HKTC EEEAA and a financial report of the alumni association in 1967. In 1969, the Electrical Engineering Society of HKTC published their first magazine 'Potential' and there was an article prepared by the HKTC EEEAA Hon Secretary Mr. LAM Siu Lau.
With the establishment of the Hong Kong Polytechnic, the Alumni Association was renamed as HK Polytechnic Electrical and Electronic Engineering Alumni Association. At that time, the Alumni covered two departments: the Electrical Engineering Department and Electronic Engineering Department. Dr LH Lees and Dr Joshua Wong were the Honorary Advisors of the Alumni Association. In 1973, Mr. CHAN Fuk Cheung was the elected first Chairman of the renamed HKP EEEAA. The Chairmanship was subsequently passed to Mr. YEUNG Kwok Wai, Richard.
After that Mr. WOO Yan Kit, Raymond was elected to take chair of the HKPEEEAA Executive Committee. Since then, over these nearly 30 years, Raymond, together with other committee members had contributed quite a lot in providing various activities for both members and students related to the Hong Kong Polytechnic. They were on voluntary basis to serve. The number of members in HKP EEEAA was maintained at 800 during the period of 1970 to 1980 and was the one of the top three Alumni in the Hong Kong Polytechnic.
